We are closed for the summer, Christmas Break (2 weeks), and Spring Break.
We require a new registration every school year.
We accept children all year if we have space in our program. This is beneficial for children who might not be three years old at the start of the school year, and for families whose home situations change throughout the year.
Our program is flexible to suit the needs of many families - multiple programs and multiple options. However, it does make our registration process a bit confusing! Please contact us if you have any questions.
After School and Kinder After School are FULL.
Please fill out a Registration form to be placed on our Waiting List.
STEPS TO REGISTER
Your registration will be confirmed after all items are submitted.
NOTE: We do not charge any fees until we confirm that we have a space for your child.
Read before registering.
Effective April 2024.
Details about our fees.
Fees were updated July 15, 2024 due to St. Martin School time changes.
From the Alberta Government website:
“We have successfully negotiated an agreement with the federal government to increase accessible, affordable and high-quality child care, giving families the choice they need.... Affordability grants are provided directly to child care operators so they can lower parent fees for all families in their program. Funding is provided for each child based on age range and type of care….Parents do not need to apply to benefit from this fee reduction.”
Visit this page for more information: https://www.alberta.ca/federal-provincial-child-care-agreement.aspx
Affordability Grants are available to ALL families with pre-school children registered in licensed child care. They are also available to families with children in kindergarten and also attending child care during regular school hours (as in the case for those attending St. Martin School). Our fees include Affordability Grant reductions, which we receive in order to reduce your fees.
From the Government of Alberta website (as applicable to Kalyna Kids):
Eligible families can apply for child care subsidies if they have children age 0 to Grade 6 enrolled in a licensed facility-based program (daycare, out-of-school care and preschool).
Subsidy rates vary based on the child’s age, family income, the child care program and the number of hours a child attends each month. Types of subsidy include:
Subsidy for children from 0 to kindergarten-age (in kindergarten and also attending child care during regular school hours) has been expanded to include families with a gross household income of up to $180,000.
Subsidy for children in kindergarten to Grade 6 enrolled in a licensed program outside of regular school hours remains available to families with a household income of up to $90,000.
Please contact us if you require assistance in determining your eligibility or in applying.
